Enver's Bar and Grill

Had a great family meal here recently. My first visit although other family members had been before. Our experience was superb from start to finish. We loved (table 7) our table in the corner which meant we were out of the way and it felt intimate whilst being able to soak up all the atmosphere. The food was superb. The service was exceptional and first class from every member of staff. The owner and chef even came to our table to personally check we had enjoyed our visit. I would definitely recommend and we will be back!

On my birthday this year, Ben took me to Envers Turkish Bar & Grill in Hillsborough, after we had heard good things about it, and been wanting to visit for a while. A family-owned restaurant located in the heart of Hillsborough, their recipes are inspired by traditional Turkish cuisine and made with the freshest ingredients available. The food was exceptional, I had my heart set on trying some of the meze and dips, and I really wanted both chicken & lamb for my main. So my cravings were definitely satisfied. The red wine and Efes beers went down lovely, and the staff were really friendly and great. We enjoyed; Meze; we chose stuffed vine leave, halloumi (massive chunks, which I loved), Turkish sausage & Cacik dip with some tomato & cheese flatbread. Mixed kebab - lamb, chicken and kofte with bulgar, flatbread & salad. There was more than enough on my plate (didn't manage all the kofte) but it was all delicious. Beyti - Lamb kofte kebab, wrapped in balloon bread with garlic butter and topped with homemade tomato sauce. This was certainly something different and was both tasty and very filling. We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere here, and would recommend as a restaurant to visit! Find out more about Envers on their website here. Excellent Turkish food, cooked in an open kitchen. The staff are very friendly and attentive. We had a mixture of starters and mains, all of which were fantastic. The mixed grill was the standout meal. The meat was cooked to perfection. The accomplishments that came with the meal were also very nice. A fruity salad which makes a change from the usual bit of lettuce, cucumber and tomato, along with delicious bulgar wheat. Will definitely visit again next time we are in the area.

First time visiting and we were blown away! The food was gorgeous and the staff we're lovely. We will 100% be coming back. By far some of the best food i've ever eaten!

This is our second visit to Envers and certainly will not be our last!! The service was excellent as was the atmosphere!! The food!!! What can I say 10/10!!! Delicious!!! Yummy!!! Scrumptious!! Could not fault it at all!! The fact that the owners took time to chat to us was lovely and even remembered us from the first time we visited what more can you ask for??

Came here for the first time with my wife n family. I had a mixed grill, n it's absolutely delicious. The staff is absolutely lovely gentleman. Lovely atmosphere. Will recommend it to everyone. We'll be back again in the future

Food tasted great, healthy portion but not much more than that, expensive but I'd say worth it with the service and atmosphere that comes with it, as a bonus the owners moustache was somehow more magnificent than the logo implied. Overall, recomend.

Amazing food!! I've had my fair share of Turkish food in my life, and this was probably the best. The service is brilliant, and the chef came around to ask us how everything was, which is a really nice touch and shows how he respects his customers. The portions are generous, which, again, is nice as you don't leave the restaurant wishing you'd had a bit more (I brought a doggy bag home, I was not going to waste that delicious food). I'll definitely be going back! Thanks for a lovely experience
